Character

Hello, I'm Katla, playfully called also Catalase (in Finnish "Katala"). In the Finland dog breeding registry my first name is written very fine style with the letter C, because I am a one of Vainukorven C-litter's puppy. More commonly, it is written with "K". What I enjoy most is stalking and teasing Pihka "the big sister". Pihka's tolerance is v e r y long, but when she go wild, it is the best to take the feet and in front of the fast and hard! I came from the North Savo here to the coast. Upon leaving there was a very wintry, snow and freezing temperatures (-25°C at coldest), but here the weather changed very quickly balmy. Almost all the snow disappeared, and I do not really get where I should do pee and poo, when the white base getting smaller and smaller. I can't understand why it doesn't bother for Pihka! On the other hand now has paws and underside of of the stomach feel cold almost at all and I stand the cold to be outside for longer.

Activities

Odors interest me very much, but I do not really cope sniff one place as long as Pihka. It gets stuck sniffing one blade of grass and I have to tap-dance as long as the mistress command Pihka to go forward. On the other hand I still do not really understand why we have to go out of the yard and far away from the familiar smells. At least I get nervous easily, if I do not smell odors of my territory at moment. I do not know why they don't understand me, when I squeak cutely (maybe a little whine, whimper and bark) and I'm trying to imply by pulling on a leash, I do not want to walk farther away. The problem is nobody is left to watch over the yard! Incredible! In my puppy home at least Lumo-aunt left growling to intruders.

The food here is highly good. Even more amazing is that they knew of my favorite food as soon as I arrived here? At times food has been placed among the buttermilk, cottage cheese, raw meat (ground beef, deer / elk rip meat) and also sometimes liver casserole. I have to be very careful indeed because Pihka is soon to empty also my food bowl, even if I take a look at in the other direction from my bowl. Apparently, the best thing is to put away all at once, otherwise the food may be only after many hours of waiting. I do not even really get to me all the time referred to as "floors watereth". In particular, the host growl every time I've been drinking water from bowl, and wipes the floor behind me cursing my heritage (Vaqueyras father). Strange.

At first time in car I was quite fearful. There is a loud noise all the time (just like a big dog growl). I whipered and tried to get out from my fabric cage without success. Pihka was sleeping next to the fabric cage! Now I dare to take a more relaxed travels. Yes, I still don't be sure that it is safe. In general, however, with car we going somewhere nice place for new experience unto, so the journey is probably still quite profitable.

With Pihka is otherwise nice to play, but she is sometimes amazingly silly with toys and food. I have learned through the dewclaws that I have to rotate her VERY far away, if she has a delicious fragrant bone between her paws. If when goes to even sniff a little closer (I do not even want the sweaty bone), so she will roar to me as if I were an evil thief. Really nasty behavior!

I've seen a lot of people and animals outside the herd. I have been in a local puppy meeting (our city pet supplier organized it), where I met a large number of different puppies. I was shy at first, but soon we were running a race between delicacy shelves of the shop. Pihka was not there, because she is to old. As far I was nervous, because I'm already used to taking a model from Pihka. Now, my sister did not explain how I should act, and that's why I was initially a bit in a fog.

Health and grooming

The hostess and host are constantly teasing me. Always have to be cut by the nails, cleans by the ears, "sweeping" a short coat, dry the paws when coming inside home (Give me a break, there is, however, freezing cold!), demand for the eyes watching before they give food and the outdoors must constantly by invitation come to the hostess or host (what you get is usually a treat, so it is quite profitable). Pihka is always brag about her skills and laugh at her beard, while I do not always immediately understand what is expected from me AGAIN.

Every time something new, strange or weird happens, I get the hiccups. It's a real nasty feeling when the whole body shake with hiccups. Particularly exciting is the so called double hiccup, which is my trademark. Pihka have no hiccups ever. Hiccups also come up after eating. When Pihka was puppy, she reportedly gobble her food as fast that she gag the food immediately after eating out and then ate again. Should I try that? Maybe that way I get to eat more food. Uh, I guess I do not bother. The hiccups is adequate suffering.

I'll tell you later in more of myself. Now I have to go visit a food bowl, because it sounds like the hostess is finally filling it.
